End of summer

So the end of the semester is here. I’d like to keep on working on posters for the music department. I think music has always been inspiring, what better source of inspiration for my designs.

Coltrane Designs

This looks is something that i would like to work with a little more on my future designs. Clean and crisp.

This piece is fun and colorful.

New Vivaldi

Changed up the Vivaldi piece a little. As a designer i think your work should be ever changing.

Rachmaninoff Poster

This poster is the most dark out of all the one's I've posted so far. It really made me think of Rachmaninoff, a composer from Russia.

John Coltraine. Jazz poster's

When I went to New Orleans for a day, I was really inspired by the jazz. I went to Frenchman Street, and saw how the music inspired everybody. Everyone was dancing, there was music everywhere. John Coltraine is a different type of jazz from what I heard in the street's of New Orleans, but he was an amazing jazz musician. The photograph I used for this poster was taken at one of the jazz clubs I went into. These musicians were amazing.

I trIed dIfferent types of looks with this poster, just like Billie Holidays.

Paul Rand

Paul Rand is a famous graphic designer we studied in Principles of design last semester. I just now got into his art. I really was never the type for modern simplicity, but I'm really digging it.

This is by Paul Rand. I think it's very expressive for it's simplicity. This is a style I'd like to work with a little more. Sometime's less is better. This would be perfect for one of the jazz poster's.
